I am an energetic and versatile Chicago-based designer currently residing on the edge of Lincoln Park + Old Town.
Growing up in a multi-generational family of artists and creative thinkers, Art + Design flows through my blood. With a father who was an Industrial Designer, and as a kid who did not yet understand the profession, I thought he simply was paid to draw. So, after hundreds and hundreds of drawing classes throughout the years, I eventually followed suit, and decided to pursue a degree in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
Professionally, I took my kid-at-heart attitude to freelance for The Marketing Store designing McDonald’s Happy Meal toys. Then Strictly FX as a Graphic Designer programming + animating laser light shows, among other creative projects. And more recently Best of Seven, an e-commerce startup, designing daily omnichannel content for social media posts, digital GIF animation ads, email campaigns, and website refreshes.
My work is often times inspired by all things quirky in nature: pop-culture, music, food- especially Chicago Hot Dogs (with absolutely no ketchup), animals, and, of course, my 2 crazy cats (Lovable) Lulu and Picky (aka The Jerk).
